India, a country that is handling over 1.3 million population and going to surpass china's population very soon is known for its secularism. Secularism means that the country doesn't separate it from its religion being followed by its people. It is the only country which is co-ordinating with America. The forty-fourth amendment of the Indian constitution(1976) made a practice to officially call it a secular country.
This country for its secularism does every possible effort to make this country very peaceful and united. as it has much religion and also widely diversified about its culture. It becomes very hard to follow the same. The culture of India mainly based on its spirituality. The spiritual nature of this country gives a different mindset to its people. Here people get their values from their religion, They take Vedas, Shastras, Upanishads, Kuran, bible, guru Granth sahib as the main source to meet with the true wisdom of life. The country is filled with different kinds of religious believers. mainly with Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christians.
It is the example of India that it doesn't permit any religion as its official religion to rule with. It doesn't make any effort to construct a particular religious institution in the country, rather it holds the share of financial assistance to help the people to follow their wishful and much believable religion.
With the conduct of secularism, it faces many controversies on a daily basis. The large population of this country gives it a new problem every day. everywhere in the country from north-east to south-west, it is facing the difficulty in handling the situation in a balanced manner. Every single word of the people of the country parts it into sides. the first part gives appraisal for standing secular so long. ( from 1976). on the other hand, there is much criticism that it is being failed to pursue his duty well. and not doing justice with the words which it swore during the adoption of his rule book (the constitution of India)
But yet, with many challenges it still has the potential to prove it right about its words, he mentioned in his living document. Its secularism is facing many difficulties due to the fixed mindset of the people who got it from their personal beliefs. but now it becomes the duty of the people to help it with good intentions and stop hurting one another for their personified tough rules.
